Rehabilitation & Recovery

ICL offers a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation program for adults with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders.  Located in Brooklyn, the Continuing Day Treatment Program (CDTP) employs a recovery-based approach to address the needs, attitudes, values and behaviors of its participants.  The program stresses self-help and the development of a supportive community, promoting both harm reduction and abstinence goals.  It provides opportunities for social networking, and supports individual efforts toward recovery from both mental illness and substance abuse.

  • Symptom Management
  • MICA Programming
  • 12-Step AA/NA Meetings
  • Rehabilitative Readiness
  • Pre-Vocational Training

CDTP is co-located with ICL's Empower Clubhouse and Vocational Opportunities and Employment Center.

 



FACT:  ICL provides evidence-based and best practice treatment, rehabilitation programs and support services to over 8,000 adults and children in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx and Pennsylvania each year.
